🚫 Restricciones habituales de Rent a Car

 1.⁠ ⁠Edad mínima

La mayoría exige:

23 años o más para autos básicos.

 2.⁠ ⁠Licencia de conducir

Licencia vigente y en buen estado.

En turistas extranjeros: licencia del país de origen + pasaporte.

 3.⁠ ⁠Tarjeta de crédito

Debe tener un cupo suficiente para garantía (bloqueo).

La garantía varía según la categoría del vehículo.

 4.⁠ ⁠Uso del vehículo

Prohibido conducir fuera de caminos habilitados (off-road completo).

No se puede participar en competencias, rally o remolcar otros vehículos.

Capacidad de pasajeros no puede excederse a los mensionados por reserva y capacidad del vehículo.

No transportar materiales peligrosos.

 5.⁠ ⁠Cruce de fronteras

Solo permitido si el cliente solicita permiso de frontera con anticipación.

No se puede cruzar por pasos no habilitados.

 6.⁠ ⁠Combustible

Se debe devolver con el mismo nivel de combustible o se cobra diferencia.

 7.⁠ ⁠Multas

Cualquier parte de tránsito o infracción durante el arriendo es responsabilidad del arrendatario.

 8.⁠ ⁠Conductor adicional

Debe estar registrado y cumplir los mismos requisitos.

Si no está registrado, cualquier accidente puede invalidar el seguro.

 9.⁠ ⁠Kilometraje

( kilometraje ilimitado).

10.⁠ ⁠Restricciones por clima o ruta

En Patagonia, se prohíben:

Circular por rutas peligrosas cuando hay alertas de temporal o nieve.

Conducir por caminos no recomendados para citycars (ej.: rutas ripiadas muy deterioradas).

🚫 Standard Rent-a-Car Restrictions

Weather or Route Restrictions In Patagonia, the following are prohibited: Driving on dangerous routes when there are storm or snow warnings. Driving on roads not recommended for city cars (e.g., heavily deteriorated gravel roads).

Minimum Age Most companies require: 23 years old or older for basic cars.

Driver's License Valid and in good condition license. For foreign tourists: home country license + passport.

Credit Card Must have sufficient available balance for the security deposit (hold/block). The security deposit varies according to the vehicle category.

Vehicle Use Prohibited from driving off-road (complete off-roading). Cannot participate in races, rallies, or tow other vehicles. Passenger capacity cannot exceed the number mentioned in the reservation and the vehicle's capacity. Do not transport hazardous materials.

Border Crossing Only permitted if the client requests border permission in advance. Crossing through unauthorized border crossings is prohibited.

Fuel The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level, or the difference will be charged.

Fines Any traffic ticket or infringement during the rental is the responsibility of the renter.

Additional Driver Must be registered and meet the same requirements. If not registered, any accident may invalidate the insurance.
